Our AGM was on 26th May. We had planned to hold it in Coleg Ceredigion as usual, but we recently heard that the City & Guilds Institute have decided to hold their exams early, so the restaurant at the college will be closed for 3 weeks around that time. Rather than change the date of the AGM the committee decided to find another venue and arranged to hold the meeting and lunch at

THE NEW INN, BRYNHOFFNANT.

Since we hold our meetings on a Thursday, we were able to take advantage of the New Inn’s Senior Citizens’ lunch rate of £6.50. Many of you will be familiar with the New Inn, which has a reputation for good food and friendly service.

We met at the New Inn for the AGM at 11.30 am, with lunch scheduled for 12 noon. The annual subscription was due at this meeting, so Phil Battison collected the £26.50 combined payment for subscription and lunch on the day.
